Over the past 30 years, we have transformed from the kitchen sink to a 30,000 square foot, fully GMP certified facility, with over 85 employees. Natures Formulae specializes in manufacturing diverse private label and custom health and wellness products using globally sourced unique and innovative ingredients. We have become a trusted custom manufacturer producing thousands of products for hundreds of customers. We work with national and international brands with well-established distribution networks. Our customers are delivered a diverse, world-class range of cosmeceutical and nutraceutical products all manufactured under their own brands.

Natures Formulae has developed expertise in the use of natural ingredients and has successfully reformulated many customer products to scale their business using natural ingredients. We are also

pleased to offer our services to those using more conventional ingredients to achieve efficacy, product consistency, or lower cost. We respect those choices and will provide the option best suited to your product needs.

Natures Formulae provides services from product idea development through to high volume production. Our customers appreciate the range of our services, the versatility of production lines, and our capability to scale up production when their product achieves success in the market.

VICTORIA PEARSON

PRESIDENT

Toria started her career at Natures Formulae in 2014 as the Accountant. She then worked as the Controller for 7 years, leading her team to ensure that accounting, regulatory, admin and information systems functioned well to support ongoing growth in the company. Now, Toria is excited to lead the company as the President and to help develop the next era of growth for Natures Formulae. Toria upholds accuracy, efficiency and integrity as key values for her team.

Having grown up in the beautiful Okanagan, Toria is delighted to have the opportunity to continue living and working in Kelowna. She is excited to be a part of the local manufacturing sector in an area better known as a tourist destination. After work relaxation includes hiking, biking and beaches in the summer and ski slopes in the winter – Okanagan living. She lives by her favourite quote “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us,” from The Fellowship of the Ring, by J.R.R. Tolkien

Toria graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia – Okanagan in 2011 and continued on to complete a Diploma in Accounting through Sauder School of Business in 2014. In 2022, she completed her Chartered Professional Accountant designation.

TIA BOEDEKER

R&D/QA MANAGER

Tia has been with Natures Formulae since 2015 and successfully manages the R&D and Quality Control teams. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree. She strives for excellence from her teams to ensure products are formulated innovatively and manufactured to the highest of standards.

Tia enjoys the challenge of working with a diverse group of people and departments in order to create industry-leading products. She resonates with Colin Powell’s quote “There are no secrets to success. It is the results of preparation, hard work and learning from failure.” Her favorite part of the job is that no two days are the same and that there is always something new to discover in the natural health product industry.

In her free time, Tia enjoys global travel as well as riding her horse in the beautiful Okanagan.

KARLA CURRIE

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Karla has resided in the Okanagan with her family for over 25 years. Her career in manufacturing started in a pharmacy lab making medicinal compounds and capsules for patients. With over 17 years of experience and knowledge gained from working manufacturing products from conception to distribution, she brings a comprehensive set of skills that are of value to the industry. Karla has continued to advance her career through a Six Sigma Yellow belt course and Project Management studies.

Karla believes clear expectations and respect for team members help lay the groundwork for a highly productive team. Her strong leadership and organisational capabilities have proven to be successful in supporting the Production team to meet customers’ milestones while upholding the company’s core value of quality products.

Her favourite quote is, “it’s about the courage to show up and be seen even when you can’t control the outcome” by Brene Brown. Don’t let fear stop you from challenging yourself to accomplish new experiences. It could be your first triathlon or riding your motorbike across eight states, if you don’t set yourself on adventures, you will never know what you are truly capable of.  

ESTELLE DU PLESSIS

SALES MANAGER

Estelle is a sales leader and relationship builder by day and a wife and mother by night. Estelle graduated from Montrose Business College in her home City of Cape Town, South Africa before venturing out into the exciting world of Contract Manufacturing in the Health & Wellness industry.

With over 15 years experience, Estelle is an accomplished, results-driven sales professional who believes that teams succeed because they are passionate about what they do. She wants to inspire those who work alongside her by creating an environment where every member of the team feels that their job makes a difference.  Since moving to Kelowna in 2021, Estelle is looking forward to her next adventure in the beautiful Okanagan!

JODI SHUTTLEWORTH

CONTROLLER

Jodi moved to Kelowna from the Coast. She started her career with Intrawest Corporation, where she spent 10 years working through the ranks of Accounting Clerk in the operations division to Project Accountant with the real estate department. 

Jodi moved on to be the Accounting Manager at Pivot Point Family Growth Centre and then moved on to manage operations and accounting at Pacific Spray Booths. 
Jodi came on board as Natures Formulae as the Bookkeeper and worked her way up. 

MARSHA OAKLEY-CHAMBERS

ACTING SALES MANAGER

Marsha embarked on her professional journey with Natures Formulae in 2014, commencing her role as an Inventory Clerk.  Over the course of four years, she transitioned into the role of Sales Facilitator, demonstrating exceptional skills and dedication.  Eager to broaden her expertise, Marsha further advanced her career to become an Account Manager. 
Currently serving as the Acting Sales Manager, Marsha is enthusiastic about collaborating with her colleagues to propel the continuous growth of the company.  Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Okanagan College, Marsha brings a solid educational foundation to her dynamic role. 
Although born on the picturesque island of Jamaica, Marsha has called the Okanagan home for the last 16 years. The warm summer weather in the Okanagan serves as a nostalgic reminder of her roots.  Beyond her professional pursuits, Marsha finds joy in leisurely walks, road trips and exploring new destinations.

SAFFRON SHAFFER

ACTING R&D/QA MANAGER

Saffron began her career with Natures Formulae in 2017 as part of the Quality Control department. Having a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of British Columbia, Saffron had a natural interest in research and development. Within a year, Saffron began working as the R&D Scientist in the lab, where she has developed a wide range of high-quality personal care and natural health products. 
Saffron’s commitment to quality and innovation has helped her to excel at Natures Formulae, where she is now the R&D/QA Manager. With a background in both R&D and Quality Control, Saffron is looking forward to leading her team in the development of unique and creative natural health products that exceed quality standards.
In her spare time, Saffron enjoys knitting and crochet, as well as hiking, traveling and enjoying time with friends and family.
